Project Objectives
- Improve roadway capacity for growing traffic levels
- Enhance pedestrian access and fill existing gaps in the City’s trail network
- Engage the community to develop solutions that work for all stakeholders
Project Timeline
- Discovery: February – April 2022: Conduct an analysis to understand existing and future conditions
- April 14, 2022 Open House No. 1: Introduce project and gather feedback
- Development: April – August 2022: Develop and evaluate potential solutions, responding to issues and needs identified during the Discovery Phase
- Design: August – December 2022: Begin the preliminary design of the selected improvements
- 2023 – 2024: Final design and right-of-way acquisition
- 2025: Construction
