Well #23 Project

The City of Lakeville is proposing to add Well #23 to its water supply system to meet existing and future water demands. The well is proposed to be constructed on City property between Iden Avenue and Impala Avenue just off 190th Street West.

The City planned for a new well to be added along 190th Street and installed watermains for it when the street was constructed. However, the City has not constructed the well until water demand necessitated its addition.

Project Objectives

  • Construct a new City well to meet existing and future water demands.
  • Provide safe and effective drilling of the well.
  • Engage the public to ensure the well fits seamlessly into the neighborhood and expectations and values are met.

Project Timeline

  • November 2023: Bid opening
  • January 2024:Anticipated project start
    - During construction, the trail at the project site will need to be closed for safety considerations
  • Fall 2024: Site work complete
