The purpose of the Technology Workgroup is to identify opportunities and make recommendations for improvements to City services through the use of technology. Examples include evaluating the City’s fiber optic network, e-commerce offerings, and partnering with the business community on issues that may benefit our residents and businesses. This work group will be comprised of six to eight citizens, local business representatives, school district officials and Dakota County staff. The workgroup will meet as needed and will be supported by the City of Lakeville Information Technology Manager.
