Volunteer at the Lakeville Area Arts Center
Volunteers are essential to the success of the Arts Center, helping to create a welcoming and inspiring environment for all who visit. By building meaningful connections with guests, volunteers support our mission to foster creativity and community through the arts.
We aim to match each volunteer with opportunities that reflect their passions and strengths. Whether you're interested in helping at special events, offering office support, or working directly with program participants, there are many ways to get involved.
Volunteers must be at least 15 years old. Training is provided, and all are welcome to share their time, talents, and love of the arts.
Volunteer opportunities are announced through the email distribution lists below.
- Event volunteer
- Options include: Ushering, Youth Art Month, gallery/exhibit openings, playbill events
- Lakeville Art Festival: Lakeville Art Festival volunteer signup is active from June through the festival (September) each year.
- Office support volunteer
- Options include: Prepare art class materials, assist with mailings, gallery/gift shop sales
- Program assistant volunteer
- Program volunteers will assist instructors during programs. Background checks required.
Volunteers opportunities are announced via email, and will be assigned on a first come basis.
