Wayside Park is a special use space that provides walking and biking trail access, parking and public water access to Orchard Lake. The park underwent improvements including the addition of the parking area in 1996 with the realignment of 168th Street. Additional park property was acquired from the abandonment of parcels associated with the former 168th Street and a land donation from Kaler family who are neighbors to the park. The total acreage of the park is just under one acre.
