There are lots of ways to get involved and support Lakeville Parks & Recreation. Volunteer for a few hours at an event or for the full event; choose the activity and time commitment that's right for you.

Youth Fishing Contest

Volunteers are needed to measure fish at the annual Youth Shore Fishing Contest. This is a relaxed event with a fun, family atmosphere. Volunteer by signing up online.

Haunted Forest

Over 100 volunteers help to make the Haunted Forest a tremendous success each year! Volunteers are needed for spooky stations along the Haunted Forest Trail, friendly costumed characters at the Trick-or-Treat Maze, trail guides, food collections and more! Many groups and individuals are needed.

Santa's Secret Store

Help make holiday memories for Lakeville youth. Groups and individual volunteers will help children with gift selection, wrapping and more.

Illumination Walk

Volunteer to help make the Illumination Walk a success. Volunteers are needed to set out luminaries, tend to the bonfire, check guests in and more. Inside and outside shifts are available.

Ritter Fest and Dogsledding Event

Enjoy a day at Ritter Farm Park while volunteering to help put on a great community event. Both individuals and groups are welcome to volunteer. 

Easter Events

We are seeking volunteers for both the Easter Egg Scramble and the Golden Egg Hunt.
