Instructor Deb Edlund will go into depth on what sarcopenia is, the various stages and what you can do to slow the process. We will discuss how the loss of muscle mass affects our daily living as we age - how quickly it can improve and how quickly it can be lost (the information on this will both scare you and give you hope). We will talk about how exercise, diet, sleep and hydration play a major role in our ability to maintain our muscle mass/function and what that means to our overall health. No matter what your age, it is never too late to invest in a program to improve your health.
