The City of Lakeville has completed and submitted our service line materials inventory to the Minnesota Department of Health (MDH). The inventory is publicly available, and you can check the materials for your service line by visiting the Lead Inventory Tracking Tool (LITT).
To complete the service line inventory, our system went through historical records to determine service line material. If no historical records were found, the system used installation and building dates to determine material. We will also be scheduling inspections for properties with unknown service lines.
As of April 15, 2025, our inventory discovered 3 lead, 19 galvanized requiring replacement, 2,030 unknown material and 16,830 non-lead service lines.
Letters were sent October 28, 2024 to all properties with galvanized and unknown service lines in Lakeville. If you did not receive a letter your service line material is known and is not a lead or a galvanized service line.
